On certain versions of Vista there is a problem with file access rights once LxDesigner has been installed. This is reported once you try and open a design within the application. If you get this error message then the following procedure will fix the problem.

1. Close LxDesigner.
2. Go to 'c:\Program Files' and right click on LxDesigns
3. Select Properties
4. Click on Security
5. Click Edit
6. Click on Users
7. Click Full Control
8. Click Ok
9. Click Ok
